TCI Powder Coatings has announced two recent promotions of senior staff members and one new hire in technical support. Steve Jones has been appointed to the new position of Director, National Markets and Jeff Wilhelms to Director of Field Technical Support. Mike Webb joined TCI as a Senior Technical Representative. 

In his new role as Director, National Markets Steve Jones will continue the company’s pursuit of key market segments and geographies and direct the programs supporting marketing and sales efforts throughout North America. These programs include marketing and branding, the TruCoater Network, website utilization, and architectural segment development. Steve comes to his position with 40 years in the coatings industry and extensive knowledge of powder coatings. Steve got his start in liquid coatings with Duron Paints, Gilman Paints, and Jones Blair. His work in the past 14 years has been in powder coatings, both with DuPont and with TCI.  He has extensive experience working directly with customers to provide coatings solutions. Steve’s position will ensure clear and consistent messaging to the customers and markets that TCI serves.

As the new Director of Field Technical Support, Jeff Wilhelms is responsible for planning and directing TCI’s technical support to customers in the field and providing the support needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of TCI products and solutions for new potential customers. Jeff brings 26 years of experience in the coatings industry and has already made a tremendous contribution at TCI with his knowledge and service capabilities. 

Mike Webb brings 30 years of experience over a broad range of applications in the coatings industry to the Senior Technical Representative position. The additions of Jeff and Mike will enhance TCI’s strong commitment to unmatched technical support for its customers, the company said.
